The Model S4000CH Intelligent Sensor is a microprocessor- based transmitter designed for use with General Monitors' catalytic bead sensors. The unit features one person calibration and can virtually self-calibrate by simply activating a magnetic switch and applying gas. It is designed to monitor combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provide status indication and alarm outputs. Complies with ANSI/ISA 12.13.01-2000 performance requirements for combustible gas detectors. CSA, FM, ATEX approved, CE Marking. SIL 2/3 suitable, certified by FM to IEC 61508.
The Model IR400 Infrared (IR) Point Detector is a microprocessor-based hydrocarbon gas detector that continuously monitors combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provides alarm indication.
All electronics are contained within an explosion-proof housing so that the IR400's detector information can be processed locally. The IR400 operates with a 4-20mA signal, which is proportional to 0 to 100% LEL gas concentration at the detector. Configurations with analog output, Modbus and HART are available. Modbus and HART data can be used for predictive maintenance. Approvals: CSA, FM, ATEX, IECEx, CE Marking. SIL 3 suitable, certified by FM to IEC 61508.
The Model IR4000S Single-Point Monitor is a display and user interface for the Model IR400 point IR gas detector. The monitor allows local calibration and displays gas concentration. Relays are optional. The relays provide output for Alarm, Warn, and Fault conditions. The IR4000S is backwards compatible with the IR2100 point IR gas detector. Approvals: FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, CE Marking. SIL 2 suitable, certified by FM to IEC 61508.
The Model IR4000M Multi-Point Monitor can be used as an integrated combustible gas detection system, with capacity to connect eight IR400 point IR gas detectors and read their status with one command. The highest current % LEL among all connected detectors is shown continuously during normal operation. In addition, the IR4000M reads seven data items from each of the IR400s connected to it, at least once per second. To request the status and configuration data stored by the IR4000M, you can use an extensive set of menus that are easily navigated using a magnetic switch. Approvals: FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, CE Marking. SIL 2 suitable, certified by FM to IEC 61508.
The Model IR5500 is an open path IR gas detector that provides continuous monitoring of methane and propane gas concentrations. The system consists of an IR source and receiver which continuously monitors for methane in both the 0 to 5000 ppmmeter and 0 to 5 LEL-meter range. A 0 to 2000 ppm meter and 0 to 1 LEL-meter range is also available for monitoring propane. The IR5500 provides two 4 to 20 mA analog signals proportional to each of the above ranges, in addition to a digital display and relay contacts. CSA, FM, ATEX, IECEx, CE Marking approved. SIL 3 suitable, certified by FM to IEC 61508.
The Model 580A is a compact, highly-versatile system for continuously monitoring combustible gas (hydrocarbon) concentrations in two locations. The system consists of two remote catalytic sensing assemblies and a solid-state controller. The controller automatically displays the higher reading channel on a digital display, scaled from 0-100% LEL (lower explosive limit). Manual override switching permits readout of the low channel at any time.
The Model 610A is a system for continuously monitoring combustible gas (hydrocarbon) concentrations in four locations. The system consists of four remote catalytic sensing assemblies and a solid-state controller. The controller features four independent channels, each having its own circuitry. The 610A features a digital display of gas concentrations in % LEL (0-99% lower explosive limit) for each channel.
The DC110 is an eight-channel Readout / Relay Module designed to be used with up to eight of our remotely located Combustible Intelligent Sensors. The front panel contains a digital display that indicates 0-99% LEL (lower explosive limit) of the combustible gas being monitored by the Intelligent Sensors.
The DC130 is a two-channel Readout / Relay Module, which receives the outputs from two of our remotely located Intelligent Sensors. Signals from the Intelligent Sensors are processed to provide a digital readout of the combustible gas concentration in "safe" areas. These concentrations are indicated over the range 0-99% LEL (lower explosive limit).
The 4802A is a single channel Combustible Gas Control Module that has been designed for use with our proven catalytic bead sensors. It is designed to monitor combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provide status indication and alarm outputs. Microprocessor-based electronics allow all options to be user selectable through the front panel interface (mode/select switch and digital display). A digital display indicates gas concentration, fault codes, calibration cues and setup options. Other features include: LED indications of status, as well as both open collector and relay outputs for fault, low alarm and high alarm.
The TA102A is a single-channel Combustible Gas Trip Amplifier Module designed for use with one General Monitors intelligent transmitter to monitor combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provide status indication and alarm outputs. Microprocessor-based electronics allow all options to be user selectable through a front panel interface (mode / select switch and digital display). A digital display indicates fault codes and set up options. Other features include: LED indications of status, as well as both open collector and relay outputs for fault, low alarm and high alarm.
